With a new album and tour happening, I was fortunate to be able to get a conversation with Matt Johnson about the new album, Ensoulment. It was released September 6th. We also spoke about the band, the history, more. It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 25 years since The Naked Self was released. Ensoulment is poignant, relevant, and takes a deep look at humanity as Matt Johnson always does. Of course, Matt’s sense of humor shines to lighten and warm up the album.
