The pictures and information about Madison Square Garden that we discovered along the way!

The Great Roman Hippodrome on the same site, preceding the original Madison Square Garden (MSG1), where P.T. Barnum made his name!

This photo is the original Madison Square Garden (MSG1). You can see the name on the building.

This is the second phase of MSG 1, which I initially thought was the first phase, because of there being no tower (far right).

This is Madison Square Garden’s second phase (MSG2), built on the same site as the first after a complete tear-down, which is discussed in the episode. That tower is where General Sherman was killed!

This is MSG3, from the outside. It has a boxier appearance, as it was designed to fit into the block it sat upon! This version of Madison Square Garden showed the venue beginning to adapt to its sports side, becoming the home to the Knicks, Rangers, and countless boxing matches, until the arrival of MSG4 in 1968!

This is the old Penn Station, which sat upon the site where MSG4 has stood since the late 1960s!

This the current location and look of Madison Square Garden (MSG4) since the 1960s!

Inside, the trademark ceiling leaves no doubt that you are inside Madison Square Garden (MSG4)
