  1. That was a great interview with Rick DiFonzo, who was a neighborhood friend from my old Frankford section of Philly back in the late 60’s. Rick was a wee bit younger than me, but a shitload more talented than I was as a guitarist. At that time I was grateful he taught me a guitar riff at my home’s 3rd-floor “ATTIK”, where my own fledgling rock band practiced on Foulkrod Street, one street behind his.

For many years I followed Rick’s successes, from the A’s to DiBella’s TV band leader to his phenomenal performance at the Berlin Wall. I was aware of Rick’s studio work with Patty Smyth and Cyndi Lauper, but it was cool to learn of all the hundreds of his music clips that were used on popular TV shows and movies.

Rick’s a good storyteller. I do hope you bring him back to hear more of his stories.

Ray & Mark, now I’ll have to listen to more of your podcasts. Keep up the great work!

    • Thanks for checking us out, and for commenting! We all want Rick to visit again, and he will in ’22 sometime for sure! His stories ROCK!!!
